Tool catalog: direct tools and platform routers
AI clients work best when they know which tools exist. The tool catalog lists every tool and operation with its access level and the roles that can use it.
What it does
Direct tools cover frequent tasks: clients, accounts, campaigns, performance, comparisons, waste, anomalies, client overview, GA4, Search Console and Klaviyo reports, tracking audit, write policy, proposals and paused creations. Platform routers group dozens of operations for Google Ads and Meta Ads, with separate routers for reading and for changes, plus LinkedIn, TikTok and Microsoft.
A search tool helps the model find the right operation by words, so the context stays small. The catalog page in the app shows the same list that AI clients see, filtered by your role.
Why it helps
- Know exactly what an AI can and cannot do in your workspace.
- Read and write operations are clearly separated.
- Compact context for faster, cheaper AI answers.
How to set it up
- Open “Connect AI” and the tool catalog section.
- Filter by platform or search by keyword.
- Use the operation names when asking your AI client for a specific action.
Good to know
- Write operations are available only to roles that may propose or create.
- The catalog is generated from the code, so it always matches what the server offers.
