Recruiting landing page that turns driver ad clicks into candidates
For carriers and agencies whose job ads get clicks but too few real conversations. You will see what the first screen of a recruiting page should answer, how to make contacting you effortless on a phone, and how to measure which ads lead to interviews.
What it does
Most drivers open your page on a phone, often between loads, and decide within seconds. The first screen should repeat the promise of the ad in the same words — job type, route, home time, equipment — and offer the next step right there, without scrolling. A headline that mirrors the ad, three or four short facts and contact buttons beat a long company story. Keep the page light so it loads fast on mobile data; heavy sliders and autoplay video at the top cost you people who never reach the buttons. Everything else — benefits, the fleet, the hiring process — goes further down.
Drivers often prefer a quick message or a call to a long form, so put Telegram, WhatsApp and call buttons first and keep any form to a few fields. Show the requirements plainly — license class, experience, driving record — so people who do not qualify leave before your recruiter spends time on them. If you show pay, show only real, current figures and explain how pay works; vague or inflated numbers produce candidates who drop out at the first call. Some US states and cities have pay transparency laws for job postings, so check whether they apply to you. A line about who will answer and how soon also helps people press the button.
A page in the wrong language wastes the click. If you run ads in Russian, Ukrainian or Spanish, pass the language in the link, such as ?lang=es, make the page read it, and fall back to the browser language. Then measure every contact: UTM tags on all ads, especially utm_campaign or utm_id, and a script that records which button was pressed together with the campaign and click IDs. Without that, you only know that the phone rang, not which campaign paid for the call. Finally, walk the full path yourself — click the ad, read the page, press each button — after every change to the ad or the site.
AdAce Ads helps with each of these points. The lead tracking script from “Analytics” → “Leads” is one line on the page; it counts Telegram, WhatsApp, call, email and form clicks as leads and keeps only technical marks — channel, page address and page language, UTM tags, Google and Meta click marks — with no names, phones, emails or IP, and leads are deleted after 90 days. The ad-to-page check shows whether the page opens in the ad's language, whether the ad's promises appear on it and which buttons the live Tag Manager container actually counts. Texts can be edited in “Settings” → “Site pages” over FTPS, with a backup before each save and rollback, and a new final URL for an ad is a proposal with undo.
Why it helps
- A first screen that repeats the ad and shows the next step.
- Messenger and call buttons that are counted as leads.
- Requirements and pay that filter people before the first call.
- The page language follows the ad through the lang parameter.
- Every page edit has a backup and can be rolled back.
How to set it up
- Add the one-line lead tracking script from “Analytics” → “Leads” to the page.
- Connect hosting in “Settings” → “Site pages” and edit the first screen and the requirements; each save keeps a copy.
- Run the ad-to-page check for each ad and fix the language or missing promises it reports.
- If an ad points to the wrong page, propose a new final URL with the lang parameter and approve it.
- Mark leads in Telegram as hiring progresses and watch cost per interview by campaign.
Good to know
- The script counts clicks on contact buttons, not finished conversations; recruiter statuses show which of them became interviews.
- Saving and restoring site files requires password and second factor, and up to 30 copies are kept per file.
- Pay transparency rules differ by state and city; this article is not legal advice.
