Disconnect a platform and revoke access at the provider
Removing a connection should remove access, not just hide it. AdAce Ads revokes tokens at the provider when you disconnect.
What it does
When you disconnect a connection, the service queues a durable revocation request to the provider: Google, Meta and Klaviyo tokens are revoked through their official endpoints, with retries if the provider is temporarily unavailable. For Google, access is revoked together with the last connection of the same Google account so other clients are not cut off.
Microsoft has no programmatic revocation; the app tells you to remove the permission in the Microsoft account. Deactivating a team member separately revokes their API keys and OAuth grants to AI clients.
Why it helps
- Clean offboarding of clients and platforms.
- No forgotten tokens with access to ad accounts.
- Reliable revocation even when providers are slow.
How to set it up
- Open Integrations and find the connection.
- Press disconnect and confirm.
- Check the message about provider revocation; for Microsoft, remove the app permission in your account.
Good to know
- Historical analytics stay available after disconnecting; new data stops.
- You can reconnect at any time with a new consent.
