Team roles: owner, admin, manager and analyst
Agencies need precise access: a junior analyst should read reports, not change budgets; a manager should see only their clients. Roles and assignments make that simple.
What it does
Owner: full control, including owner-only switches such as writes to existing campaigns. Admin: manages connections, team, policies and approvals. Manager: works with assigned clients and proposes changes. Analyst: reads data of assigned clients and cannot propose.
Owners and admins see all clients; managers and analysts see only the clients they are assigned to. Roles can be changed only up to your own level, and the last owner can be neither demoted nor deactivated.
Why it helps
- Least privilege for every person.
- Client confidentiality inside the agency.
- Clear responsibilities for approvals.
How to set it up
- Open Team.
- Invite people with the right role.
- Assign managers and analysts to clients.
- Adjust roles as responsibilities change.
Good to know
- Role and assignment changes require the second factor.
- The AI analyst and MCP clients act with the permissions of the person using them.
