Install the Meta (Facebook) pixel and lead events with Tag Manager

Meta needs events to optimize for leads. AdAce Ads adds the pixel base code and a lead event to the site through Tag Manager, with the channel of each lead recorded.

What it does

If the client's pixel is not on the page, the plan adds the base code on all pages, sending PageView only to that pixel. If there is no lead event yet, it adds one on the lead trigger: Contact by default, or Lead, SubmitApplication, Schedule or CompleteRegistration. The event carries the channel — phone, telegram, whatsapp, viber, messenger, email, form or button — based on the link clicked.

Events are sent with trackSingle, so they never leak into other pixels on the same page. You can choose another pixel of the client in the plan.

Why it helps

  • Lead optimization on Meta without a developer.
  • Know which channel each lead came through.
  • No duplicate events in other pixels.

How to set it up

  1. Run the tracking audit for the site.
  2. Open the change plan and choose the Meta event and pixel.
  3. Prepare and publish with your password and second factor.
  4. Optimize ad sets on the event or create custom conversions by channel.

Good to know

  • For EU and UK visitors, the site must provide cookie consent.
  • After publishing, the event appears in Meta reports (for example, Contact as contact_website).
