Mark GA4 key events and link GA4 with Google Ads in one click
Often everything is almost right: the site sends generate_lead, but it is not marked as a key event, or GA4 is not linked to Google Ads. The audit fixes these with one button each.
What it does
Next to checks the platform can fix, the audit shows buttons: mark an event as key, link GA4 with Google Ads, enable auto-tagging, or create a GA4 property. The service suggests which event to mark based on what the site really sends.
Each action uses the client's GA4 connection with edit permission, reads the result back and records it in the audit log. Enabling auto-tagging writes to the ad account, so it follows the same write rules as campaign changes.
Why it helps
- Turn audit findings into fixes without leaving the page.
- Key events count immediately — no waiting for GA4's next day.
- Every fix is logged.
How to set it up
- Run the tracking audit for the client's site.
- Next to a failed check, press the fix button (for example, “Mark … as key”).
- Re-run the audit to confirm the check is green.
Good to know
- Requires GA4 edit access granted from the GA4 block.
- Auto-tagging is enabled only on accounts allowed for writes and respects the workspace emergency stop.
