Optimization events: match Ads Manager “Results” exactly
If an ad set optimizes for Add to cart, judging it by purchases is misleading. AdAce Ads reads each ad set's optimization event and uses it as the result — just like Ads Manager's Results column.
What it does
The optimization event comes from the ad set's promoted object: pixel plus standard event or a custom conversion. For a campaign it is used when all its active ad sets optimize for the same event; otherwise the campaign objective decides.
When the event is known and a day has none, the result is zero, not “unknown” — zero purchases is a fact monitors and agents should react to. The result source is stored with the data: KPI, optimization or objective.
Why it helps
- CPA and ROAS that match what the team sees in Ads Manager.
- Agents and monitors judge by the right event.
- Honest zeros instead of hidden gaps.
How to set it up
- Nothing to set up: the event is read with the account structure.
- Open Analytics and check “What counts as a result” for the account.
- Set a client KPI event if the business goal differs from the optimization event.
Good to know
- Some events (Contact, Schedule, Subscribe) cannot be mapped to report types automatically; the KPI or objective is used.
- The service does not change the optimization event of existing ad sets — that would reset learning.
