Create Meta ad sets with optimization goal and pixel event
The ad set is where Meta learns whom to show ads to and what to optimize for. AdAce Ads creates paused ad sets with all the key settings explicit.
What it does
Optimization goals: pixel conversions, landing page views, link clicks, reach or impressions. For conversions you pick the account's pixel and an event — Purchase, Lead, Complete registration, Add to cart, Initiate checkout, Add payment info, Add to wishlist, View content or Search.
Targeting includes countries, age 18–65, gender, languages, an explicit Advantage+ audience choice, and custom audiences to include or exclude. A daily ad set budget is set only when the campaign has no campaign-level budget.
Why it helps
- Conversion ad sets connected to the right pixel event.
- All settings validated before Meta sees them.
- Paused on creation — enable after review.
How to set it up
- Open Campaigns, pick a Meta campaign and press “Ad groups & ads”.
- Create an ad set: name, optimization goal, pixel and event if needed.
- Set countries, age, gender, languages and audiences.
- Add ads, then propose enabling the ad set.
Good to know
- The pixel must belong to the same ad account.
- The same audience cannot be both included and excluded.
