Meta detailed targeting interests with search

Interests help Meta find people similar to your customers. AdAce Ads searches Meta's catalog live and edits the interest list of an ad set.

What it does

Type a topic and the service queries Meta's targeting search, returning interests with their IDs and audience size estimates when Meta provides them. You add or remove interests; the proposal shows the old and new list.

Only a single interest list is edited. If an ad set uses more complex detailed targeting — behaviors, demographics or several condition groups — the service refuses and suggests editing it in Ads Manager, so nothing is silently flattened.

Why it helps

  • Find relevant interests without leaving your workflow.
  • Safe edits that never destroy complex targeting.
  • The AI analyst can suggest interests and draft the proposal.

How to set it up

  1. Campaigns → “Propose a change” → “Ad set targeting”.
  2. Search interests by keyword and add them, or remove existing ones.
  3. Submit for approval.

Good to know

  • Interest availability changes over time on Meta's side.
  • Always requires human approval.
