Meta carousel and video ads
Carousels show several products or benefits in one ad; video tells the story. Both formats are created from AdAce Ads, paused and verified.
What it does
A carousel has 2–10 cards, each with an image (PNG/JPEG up to 5 MB, 20 MB total), a headline, an optional description and its own https link, plus shared primary text, a “see more” link and a button. More than five cards are allowed when Meta chooses the card order; otherwise up to five in your order.
A video ad uses a direct https link to an MP4 or MOV file that Meta downloads itself, and your own thumbnail image. Video processing is asynchronous: the service waits up to a minute and, if Meta is still processing, asks you to retry — the retry reuses the uploaded video.
Why it helps
- Rich formats without Ads Manager.
- Validation before the request saves time on rejections.
- The client's UTM template is applied to every card and video.
How to set it up
- Open “Ad groups & ads” for a Meta campaign and choose “New creative”.
- Choose the “Carousel” or “Video” format.
- Add cards or the video link and thumbnail, texts, link and button.
- Create the ad and propose enabling it.
Good to know
- Carousel and video are Meta formats; Google video ads use Demand Gen.
- From Claude or ChatGPT, give images as public https links and the video as a direct https link to the file.
