Create Demand Gen campaigns with image or YouTube video ads
Demand Gen reaches people on YouTube, Discover and Gmail with visual ads. AdAce Ads creates the campaign, ad group and first ad together, paused and ready for review.
What it does
For image ads you provide 1–5 headlines up to 30 characters, 1–5 descriptions up to 90, the business name, a square logo and at least one landscape or square image. For video ads you give a YouTube link (watch, youtu.be, Shorts or embed) or an 11-character video ID, a logo, headlines, long headlines and descriptions; the ad group then serves on YouTube placements.
Bidding is Maximize conversions or Maximize conversion value with optional targets, and countries are required. Everything is created in one request following Google's dependency order and read back.
Why it helps
- Visual campaigns without leaving your workflow.
- Links and image proportions are validated before the request.
- Paused by default — enable after review and approval.
How to set it up
- Open Campaigns and press “New paused campaign”.
- Choose a Google account and the Demand Gen type.
- Pick the format: Images or YouTube video, and fill in the fields.
- Create, review and propose enabling.
Good to know
- A second attempt with the same name finds the existing campaign instead of creating a duplicate.
- The video must be on YouTube — upload the file to YouTube right from the Google Ads account in Campaigns → Creatives, then use its video ID.
