Switch Google campaign bidding strategies

Choosing the right bidding strategy is one of the biggest levers in Google Ads. AdAce Ads lets you change it with a clear before and after — always with human approval.

What it does

Supported strategies: Maximize conversions (with or without target CPA), Maximize conversion value (with or without target ROAS), Maximize clicks (with or without a max CPC limit) and manual CPC. The current strategy comes from the imported structure; the proposal shows it next to the new one.

Portfolio strategies shared by several campaigns are not changed, because that would affect other campaigns. Undo restores the previous strategy when the service can set it; otherwise it tells you to restore it in Google Ads.

Why it helps

  • Move campaigns to smart bidding when conversion data is ready.
  • Targets are validated against the chosen strategy.
  • Every switch is documented with a reason.

How to set it up

  1. Open Campaigns, choose a Google campaign and “Propose a change”.
  2. Open the “Bid strategy” tab and choose the strategy and target.
  3. Add a reason and submit for approval.

Good to know

  • A strategy change restarts learning and can change spend — that is why it always needs human approval.
  • The executor refuses if the strategy in the account differs from the approved “before”.
