Pause or enable Google ad groups and ads

Sometimes the problem is one ad group or one ad, not the whole campaign. AdAce Ads changes status at every level of the structure.

What it does

You choose an ad group or an ad in the campaign and propose pause or enable. The executor checks that the object still belongs to the campaign and has the approved status, writes the change and reads it back.

Changes to different ad groups or ads of the same campaign are independent: approving one does not invalidate another pending proposal.

Why it helps

  • Surgical changes without touching the rest of the campaign.
  • Enable newly created paused ad groups and ads after review.
  • Reversible and eligible for the auto policy.

How to set it up

  1. Open Campaigns, choose a campaign and “Propose a change”.
  2. Select the “Ad group status” or “Ad status” tab and pick the object.
  3. Choose pause or enable and submit.

Good to know

  • Works for Google and Meta alike.
  • The auto policy can apply these changes within limits.
