Google Ads extensions (assets): sitelinks, callouts, snippets and calls

Extensions (assets) make search ads bigger and more useful. AdAce Ads adds and removes them at campaign level with validation and read-back.

What it does

Add up to 20 at a time: sitelinks (text up to 25 characters, https URL, both descriptions up to 35 or none), callouts (up to 25 characters), structured snippets (a Google header such as Brands, Types or Service catalog with 3–10 values up to 25 characters) and call extensions (phone number and country). Existing texts are skipped, case insensitive.

Removal lists the campaign's current extensions live and removes only the link between campaign and asset; the asset stays in the account library. Undo of a removal adds the same extensions back.

Why it helps

  • Richer ads and higher CTR without manual setup.
  • Validation prevents rejected assets.
  • Clean up outdated extensions safely.

How to set it up

  1. Open Campaigns, choose a Google campaign and “Propose a change”.
  2. Open the “Extensions” tab: add new extensions or select current ones to remove.
  3. Review and submit for approval.

Good to know

  • Additions have no automatic undo (remove them with a removal proposal instead).
  • Always requires human approval.
